Occupational Therapy Schools
Occupational therapy schools can be difficult to be accepted into. Let me outline some of the prerequisites you may want to have before applying for OT school. You will likely get credit for any observation you have attended with a licensed occupational therapist. Good grades coupled with a history of volunteering will increase your chances of getting accepted into an occupational therapy school.
What follows is a list of masters programs which are accredited. These institutions are accredited according to the rules of the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education. You can also refer to this entity as ACOTE. This council schedules evaluations on site for each program every 5 to 7 years. So you want to go to an accredited school of course. Otherwise your degree is practically worthless some would say.
